Gigs of the Week !

This week we're having only one gig. Final gigs from this year going on, only four more to go!
In case nothing weird happen and I find myself from some random gig ... But at the moment it look like that there's no interesting gigs after these.

Anyway! On friday 27.11. it's Bandit's 40th B-Day Party in On the Rocks, Helsinki!
Bands are : Vanity Ink (who do special reunion for this gig!), New Generation Superstars and Manzana.

No more SISTER SIN !

With a heavy heart I write this : Sister Sin doesn't exist anymore.

For me Sister Sin have been for years one of my fave bands, one of my fave Swedish bands and definitely one of the best female fronted metal bands in the world. Their shows have always been full of energy and full of positive rock'n'roll vibes. Now, suddenly, it's all gone.
I'm really sad.

You can read the official statement about this from their Facebook-page, which they released at last weekend.
I still haven't understand this which why I can't write anything what would make some sense heh.

A bit annoyed that there won't even be any kind of farewell gig or anything!!

Gigs of the week!

This week I will have two gigs to go!

Bullet For My Valentine, march 2014, Circus Helsinki FIN.

First one is on thursday, when Bullet For My Valentine will play in Helsinki Icehall's Black Box. Last time when I saw BFMV it was back in time in 2014 ... if I remember right heh. Gig was in Circus which I don't like as a concert place at all. There's just something which make it so annoying.
I went there after the doors open and I still got in the front row. Most of the people, at least front of stage, were really young and I felt myself like a granny lol.
This time they will play in a bigger place. Even it's in Icehall there will be only standing places as everyone will be at the standing area, no seat places at all.
I would like to go to the front but I don't want to wait outside the whole day lol. I don't know yet what I'm gonna do!

On saturday there are two good gigs coming up when Entwine will play in House of Rock at Kouvola and Amoral in On the Rocks at Helsinki.
I have no idea which one to choose as both are my favorites! Damn bands ... why there are never good gigs around in a while and when there are KABOOM they are at the same day.

Getaway Rock Festival, Gävle, Sweden 6.8.2015

We went to Getaway Rock Festival just to see Rob Zombie. We were lucky to have Crucified Barbara and Hardcore Superstar to play at the same stage. Saxon and Status Quo also played at the same stage and just before Rob Zombie.
I think both bands were really boring and I would like to have for example HCSS to play before Zombie so the 'support bands' would be better ones heh.

I really liked to see HCSS to play as I haven't seen them in ages! Great gig!

Slipknot will return to Europe in 2016 !

Slipknot have released gigs for many European countries! You can find your local concert (if there will be one) from their website or from Live Nation's page.
Tour will be in january-february 2016, at least all the dates what I have seen so far are at that time.

First they announced gigs to UK so I and my friend bought tickets for both London gigs. Then we saw dates for Norway and Sweden at their website and finally there were Finland too. I had to buy a ticket for Finland show too lol. Luckily I got the fanclub ticket so I didn't need to worry and stress about getting them before they sell out.
Wish I could go to Sweden too but it's in Göteborg and I might need to go there by my own so I would prefer Stockholm as I know it better.
And these three will take enough money from me already. :P So I think I will skip Sweden ...

Suicide Silence, Nosturi Finland 5.8.2015

A day before Getaway Rock Festival we went to see Suicide Silence in Nosturi. Good times!

Really liked the show and the crowd was amazing! Killer show as always. :)

To be honest I was first a bit ''wtf'' about this video and the quality but I guess itäs ment to be that blurry ... hehe. Great song anyway, good to see them back in action!

Upcoming gigs in Finland !

There are lots of good gigs and tours coming up at this fall in Finland. Here's few of them! I haven't have time to update these or check if there are some other interesting gigs coming up too (probably is!!) but if you have some in your mind please share your info in comments. :)

Bring Me The Horizon in Tuska Open Air 2014

Entwine will start their comeback tour in Lahti at 10.10. They will also play a gig in Helsinki at 16.10. They have also lots of other gigs coming up around the Finland, check them out from their homepage!
In Flames will have their tour in Finland in october too, 13.10. is gig in Tampere and there were three other dates too. Unfortunately I can't make any of these!
Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach will bring their tour to Helsinki at 2.11. Can't make it either as I'm in London lol.
Bullet For My Valentine will play a show in Helsinki at 12.11.
Bring Me The Horizon will play a show in Helsinki at 16.11.
Apocalyptica will play a show in Helsinki at 21.11. but they have lots of other dates too in Finland and Europe! I really hope I can make this.
Bandit's 40th Bday party will be in Helsinki at 27.11. and there will play Vanity Ink, New Generation Superstars and Manzana !

There's also lots of interesting tours coming up in 2016 like Halestorm will come back to Finland for two gigs in february! Finally, haven't seen them in ages.
There's also tour dates released from Slipknot for Sweden and Russia in january / february 2016 so let's hope they will come play one in Finland too!
